CHALLENGER INTERNATIONAL SOCCER

 The camp will be held at the soccer field by the Arena, 30 Carrier Crescent from July 22nd-26th, 2019

Roller Hockey - Tuesday's and Thursday's from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Come on out for a game of  ball hockey at the Fraser Lake Arena on the Hard Surface.  For more information contact Zion at 250-699-1263. This event is sponsored by the Village of Fraser Lake.


Public Roller Skating - ​Friday evenings from 5:00pm to 6:30pm

Come on out for free drop-in cosmic public roller skating on the Hard Surface. Ages 12 and up (under 12 are welcome with a parent). Participants must wear a hockey or bike helmet and gloves. There are some skates and helmets available for use. For more information contact Zion at 250-699-1263. See the Funsational Summer Program for more information. Drop in Soccer - Thursday mornings from 9:00am to 10:00am for ages 8-10 and from 11:00am to 12:00pm for ages 11+

Drop in Kickball - Tuesday mornings from 9:00am to 10:00am for ages 8-10 and from 11:00am to 12:00pm for ages 11+

Creative Mornings - Wednesday mornings from 9:00am to 12:00pm at the Complex.

Ages 4-7 are welcome with parental supervision
Ages 8 and up are welcome to drop in on their own

White Swan Park Village/Library Thursday - Starting August 15

1:00pm to 2:00pm for ages 5-7
2:00pm to 3:00pm for ages 8 and up
Thursday craft at the park. Make a kite, blow some bubbles, make a crystal and paint a pot


PICKLE BALL - Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Pickle Ball is a racquet sport with a combination of tennis, Ping-Pong and badminton.  Anyone that joins tends to become a dedicated player!  This sport is fast becoming the sport to join!  Come out and give it a try at the Fraser Lake Arena.  Ages 14 and up and bring your own equipment.  Contact Gary and Cecile Webb at 250-699-6426 or Dave and Lolly Sansom at 250-699-8860 for more information about this fun and challenging sport.  This event is free.


Outdoor Adventure Klub - Every Saturday leaving the Museum at 10:00am

Wear appropriate clothing and footwear, bring water and a light snack. You may also want mosquito repellent or sunscreen. You must have your own transportation. For more information see the Funsational Summer Program, or see the poster below.

Equine Entrust: Miniature Horses - August 14th 

1:00pm to 3:00pm
7860 Highway 16 West
Come enjoy a fun, interactive afternoon with the miniature horses on the farm. There will be a short lesson at the beginning of the day and then we will move towards fun activities with the minis. Ages 5 and up (ages 5-8 must be accompanied by an adult). Pre-registration is required at the Village Office. Babysitting Course - August 19th

This course costs $85 per participant
For participants ages 11 and up
The course is 7 to 8 hours in length
Students will learn not only how to work with children and parents but also some First Aid skills. Pre-registration is required to be done by August 13th! Make sure to come in and sign up so you don't miss your chance!

Stay Safe Course - August 20th

This course costs $75 per participant
For participants ages 9 and up
The course is 5 to 6 hours in length
Students will learn about real world scenarios where children have to act in a safe manor. This course will increase a youth's capacity to improve his or her own safety. Pre-registration is required to be done by August 13th! Make sure to come in and sign up so you don't miss your chance!

Summer Sports Week - August 12 to August 16 

From 9:00am to 12:00pm
Ages 8 and up
This program costs $30
This is a half day program where children will play a different sport each day in a motivating and supportive environment.
Sports will include: soccer, kickball, beach volleyball, floor hockey, hiking and a fun sports day at White Swan.
Maximum registration is 16 so make sure to sign up early

 Prince George Movie and Swimming Trips - July 23 and August 20

We will leave for this trip at 9:00am and will return at around 6:00pm but if things are set to change we will contact the parents to let everyone know.
Swimming at the Aquatic Center and then off to Famous Players for a movie and some pop and popcorn. There will be a pit stop to get food before we come back to Fraser Lake so make sure to send some pocket money for a meal.
The cost of the trips is $35 for kids (ages 7 to 13) and $45 for teens and adults (ages 14 and up)
We have very limited seats on the community bus, so make sure to register early so you don't miss out. 
Make sure to watch for the information about what movies we will be going to see.
