Most of the lakes in the area contain Trout or Char, Rainbow Trout, Kokanee, and Ling Cod. Fishing is good in most of the lakes at certain times of the year; Fraser Lake and François Lake have good fishing all year round. The many small lakes in the area have good Rainbow Trout fishing, especially in the spring.
