Water Treatment Facility Operator/Distribution System and Maintenance Job Posting
The Village of Fraser Lake has a opening within Public Works for the Water Treatment Facility and Distribution System.
This position entails the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Water Treatment Facility, Distribution System, and all associated community assets. The community Water Treatment Facility holds a Level 3 classification according to EOCP standards, while the Distribution System holds a Level 2 classification.
As the Water Treatment Facility constitutes just a single facet of the Municipal Maintenance team, the ideal candidate will participate in various other roles, including but not limited to Wastewater Treatment, Heavy Equipment Operation/Mechanics, Maintenance of Company Fleet Vehicles, Road and Street Maintenance, Snow Removal, Park Beautification, and Waste Removal.

Summer Student Employment 2024
The Village of Fraser Lake is accepting applications from University Students for full time summer employment. Summer employment opportunities are offered for both general summer maintenance, Museum/Tourist Information Center and Administration duties at the Village Office.
Training in First Aid and experience in the operation of small tools such a lawn mower or weed eaters is preferred for those students who would like to work in Public Works. Public Works activities will include mowing grass, street maintenance, parks, trail and sports field maintenance and potentially physical chores. The activities associate with work in our Public Works Department are varied and many.
For those wishing to develop your skills in the office environment, computer and organizational skills are important for work at the Village Office and Tourist Information Center.
Our Community needs our students. Many of our summer activities help beautify our community. Without your energy, we accomplish less.
