2025 Official Community Plan

Key highlights include:
- A housing strategy to meet projected needs: 7 new units in 5 years, 64 in 20 years
- Updated residential zones to support diverse housing types and gentle densification
- New policies for public transit, childcare, and active transportation
- Revised land use designations for residential, commercial, industrial, and civic areas
- Strengthened relationships with Indigenous neighbours and cultural recognition
-
Goals focused on economic sustainability, environmental stewardship, inclusivity, infrastructure, and housing affordability
The OCP is a living document, updated regularly to reflect community needs and provincial legislation. It sets the foundation for future zoning bylaws and development decisions.
