Summer Student Posting
The Village of Fraser Lake is hiring a limited number of university students and one high school student for summer labour and Museum positions. To be eligible, applicants must be full-time students and provide proof of enrollment in an education program for Fall 2025.
Successful applicants will work Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of weekend and overtime work, including Canada Day on July 1, 2025. These positions involve physical tasks such as lifting, digging, shoveling, and raking, and applicants must be able to perform duties as assigned.
Museum students will be supporting the Museum operations from the start of the May long weekend to the start of the school season. The successful applicant will be working with volunteers and community members for the operation of the facility. Museum student will be required to provide visitors with the information available at the kiosk and to gather numbers of total visitors that enter the facility.
The positions will start as early as May 5, 2025, and conclude on August 29, 2025. Interested students are encouraged to submit their resumes to the Village of Fraser Lake Office by April 11, 2025.
