Fraser Lake Community Forest Review & Comment Period

The Village of Fraser Lake is advertising a review and comment period for a Forest Stewardship Amendment and a Forest Operations Map to provide engagement for First Nations, public and stakeholders.  The Community Forest (K5E) located south of Fraser Lake in the vicinity of Chowsunkut Creek, Copley Lake and George Lake. 

The Forest Operations Map (FOM) submission ID 2404 review and comment period for will begin June 19th until July 20th, 2025.

Maps are available via: 

  1. Paper at the Village of Fraser Lake Office located at 210 Carrier Cresent in Fraser Lake between 8am and 4pm on business days

  3. Online on the BC Government online portal: click here  

Will be received using one of the following methods:

  2. In person by visiting the Village of Fraser Lake Office during office hours (8am – 4pm)

Please be advised that any comments to this advertisement will be considered part of the public record. 

This FOM ID is valid for 3 years for cutting and road permit submissions starting at the beginning of the comment period. 

The FSP amendment is to update Riparian and the Cultural Heritage Resources Results and Strategies. The Amendment is available for public review will begin June 19 ending August 19, 2025.
