Construction work continues this week as crews make progress on road and infrastructure improvements throughout the project area. Please expect construction equipment, personnel, and trucks to be active in the neighbourhood.
This week's construction activities include:
- Road grading beginning at the east end of Tunasa Drive near Mouse Mountain, including the east end of Simon Fraser Avenue, and working west toward Carrier Crescent and down Tunasa Crescent.
- Please slow down and avoid unnecessary driving on freshly graded roads – please avoid any damage to the new road surface prior to paving.
- Once grading reaches Carrier Crescent, crews will begin raising storm and sanitary sewer manholes to match the new road height ahead of paving. This will create temporary holes in the road over several days, which will be clearly marked off for safety.
Residents may experience temporary delays, road restrictions, and changes to driveway access as work progresses. Crews will communicate directly with affected residents regarding any access impacts and parking requirements.
