The Village would like to advise residents that crews were unable to complete the planned Park Drive CN Crossing maintenance on October 1, 2026, due to equipment failure.
To ensure the community continues to have access through Park Drive, the newly installed crossing surface will need to be removed and the temporary crossing reinstated. This is why the temporary crossing has remained in place following the previous construction work.
Crews are currently scheduled to complete the remaining work on:
Wednesday, October 14, 2026
6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to plan ahead and use caution when travelling through the work area. We appreciate your patience and understanding as these important infrastructure improvements are completed.
Please note that Park Drive should be used for local traffic only on the evening of October 13, 2026. The crossing will be closed to general public use during this time and is expected to fully reopen on Thursday, October 15, 2026. Which means White Swan Campground will be closed during this time as well.
