The Village of Fraser Lake has received an application for a proposed retail cannabis location at 145 Langley Ave. Pursuant to the Village of Fraser Lake’s Retail Cannabis Policy and relevant provincial and federal laws and regulations, the Comment Period and Application Period are now open.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
Public comments are solicited from landowners and tenants within 100m of the proposed retail cannabis location. All comments must be submitted in writing by email or letter to the Village of Fraser Lake. These can be submitted by email to edo@fraserlake.ca, dropped off in-person during regular office hours, or by mail to:

All submitted comments must indicate the owner or tenant’s street address and be received by Sunday, July 12, 2026, at 4:00PM.
Comments from outside of the comment area or those received after the deadline cannot be included for consideration.
APPLICATION PERIOD
The Village of Fraser Lake limits the number of retail cannabis locations within its boundaries to two. One dormant retail cannabis permit is already in place, meaning there is a maximum of one additional retail cannabis location. See the Village's Retail Cannabis Policy for more information.
Other parties interested in applying for a retail cannabis location must submit a completed application and pay the associated fee to the Village of Fraser Lake during the application period.
