Construction work continues this week as crews make progress on road and infrastructure improvements throughout the project area. Please expect construction equipment, personnel, and trucks to be active in the neighbourhood.
This week's construction activities include:
- Curb preparation on Carrier Crescent
- Driveway culvert installation on Tunasa Crescent, Carrier Crescent, and Tunasa Drive.
- Excavating the remainder of the Park Drive/Tunasa Crescent intersection.
- Excavating the Village parking lot and replacing gravels.
Road Closure: Starting Monday, the west approach to the Park Drive/Tunasa Crescent/Chowsunket Street intersection will be closed until Tuesday at 1:00 PM. Motorists coming from Chowsunket Street will need to use an alternate route. Please look for signage and follow any posted detours.
Sidewalk Pour: The sidewalks are scheduled to be poured between Wednesday and Friday, but the date may change due to weather. If rain prevents crews from pouring concrete, the work may be pushed until next week. Crews will go door to door to notify residents, and we will do our best to keep you informed.
Residents may experience temporary delays, road restrictions, and changes to driveway access as work progresses. Crews will communicate directly with affected residents regarding any access impacts and parking requirements.
Thank you to residents and motorists for your continued patience and cooperation as we work to complete these road improvements.
🗑️ Garbage collection will continue as normal.
