Due to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation falling on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, garbage collection for properties located east of Chowsunket Street will be affected.
Please note that the September 30th, 2026 Garbage Collection has been rescheduled to Thursday, October 1, 2026.
The Village of Fraser Lake will be replacing a major water valve assembly at the intersection of Endako Avenue and Chowsunket Street. The green circle on the map identifies the work location, while the yellow highlighted area indicates properties that will be directly affected by the replacement work. Properties highlighted in orange are encouraged to remain attentive to notices posted on the Village website, as project updates may affect their area.
What this means:
• October 1st to October 3rd, 2026: The intersection of Endako Avenue and Chowsunket Street will be closed to all traffic while construction is underway.
• October 2nd 2026 (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.): Water service to properties located within the yellow highlighted area will be temporarily interrupted to allow for the replacement of a critical water valve. Residents and businesses within the orange highlighted area are encouraged to remain alert for updates during this time, as the service interruption area may need to be expanded depending on the performance and reliability of existing valves encountered during the work.
The Village appreciates residents' patience and cooperation as this critical infrastructure improvement is completed. Updates will be posted on the Village website as work progresses.
