TREE CUTTING PERMIT

Updated: October 20, 2026 - 12:41pm
Alert level: Low

Did you know that within the Village of Fraser Lake municipal boundaries, a Tree Cutting Permit is required before removing certain trees? Did you also know that the sound of a chainsaw can often be heard throughout the community, including at the Village Office?

If you are planning any tree removal or hiring someone to complete this work on your behalf, please ensure you are familiar with the requirements of the Village's Tree Bylaw before proceeding.
