This notice is the first of two notices to advise residents in the Village of Fraser Lake of the intention to consider providing a Temporary Use Permit at 551 Simon Fraser Ave.
The purpose of the Temporary Use Permit is to allow for exclusive office use of the home located at 551 Simon Fraser Ave. until January 31, 2027.
551 Simon Fraser Ave. is a residential home zoned R1 – Single-Family Residential.
In Bylaw 683, Zoning Bylaw 2008, home-based businesses are limited to a subordinate use to that of a residence and may occupy no more than 65m2/700ft2 of the residence. The applicant is requesting exclusive office use of the space.
Copies of the proposed permit are available for review at the Fraser Lake Municipal Office located at 210 Carrier Cres. from Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:00.
The Council of the Village of Fraser Lake will consider the matter at a Special Council Meeting on July 30, 2025 at 5:30pm in the Village of Fraser Lake Council Chambers at 210 Carrier Cres.
