🚧 Construction Update🚧
As part of the Fraser Lake Reservoir Fill Line, Utilities and Road Upgrades project, Dawson Civil is continuing to install new storm main along Tunasa Drive, as well as watermain tie-ins and water service connections.
📍 This week, crews will be installing storm main along Tunasa Drive from Taluk Crescent to Simon Fraser Ave East until the morning of Wednesday, September 17th. Two separate watermain tie-ins will be occurring Wednesday from 8:00am–6:00pm, one at Carrier Crescent & Tunasa Crescent, and the other at Simon Fraser Ave West & Tunasa Drive. Water service connections to houses along Tunasa Crescent and Tunasa Drive will also be starting. During water service connections, residents will have short water disruptions during the connection, which we will communicate by knocking on doors and giving 30-minute warnings. Water shutoffs will last approximately 10 hours.
Please note:
• BACK TO SCHOOL – Please advise your children to stay away from construction equipment on their way to and from school
• Access to driveways will be temporarily restricted.
• Garbage collection – Please have cans out Tuesday night or before 7am on Wednesday morning.
• The road behind Mouse Mountain Elementary School is being used as a haul route for material. Please avoid this area during work hours Monday to Saturday 7am-5pm.
• Please avoid touching any valves or pressure test trees as they can be harmful when played with.
